YEP. that's exactly why i joined too. i had a dreamwidth a couple of years back for posting about some of my hobbies and mental health stuff, but i felt like starting fresh recently... i think it could potentially be a good way to have actual like. discussions and interaction with people in a way that feels much less hostile/frightening than places like bluesky etc!
